MAXXWELL PRODUCTION
SLOT PERFORATION TECHNOLOGY
MAIN PRINCIPLES OF SLOT PERFORATION TECHNOLOGY
"Classical" slot perforation technology - opening casing, cement and productive formation by cutting of continuous deep longitudinal slots along the wellbore (all-in-one-cycle process). For creation of slots is used a special SPT tool with hydraulic elements, that cuts slots by rectilinear and constant movement of abrasive cutting jets along the wellbore, and without moving of tubing.
Main idea of "classical" slot perforation technology:
Unloading circular compression stresses in the near wellbore zone (for increases of permeability and porosity, and accordingly increasing the productive inflow). Slot perforation technology (SPT) - the only method, supposed to unload annular compression stress conditions around the wellbore.
Opening a large casing area and creation of a large drainage penetration’s zone in the productive formation (for good hydrodynamic connection well with the productive formation).
"Classical" slot perforation technology (SPT) - absolutely environmentally friendly technology (sand and water) without any chemical or mechanical additives.
Last measuring test, made by "Halliburton" in 2014, showed the cutting depth of hydro-slotting perforation is near 3.3 feet (1 meter), but depending on the hardness of rocks mathematically cutting depth can not exceed 5.0 feet (1.5 meters).
Slot perforation technology (SPT) was successfully used in thousands oil and gas wells in different places: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Canada, China, Eastern and Western Siberia, Jordan, Komi Republic, North Caucasus, Poland, Russia, Udmurtia, Ukraine, United States, Urals, Uzbekistan and Yemen.
Some of slot perforation service-companies: "Biddless", "DOGEP", "Dyna", "Exalo", "Hydro-Sandblast", "Hydro-Pressure", "Hydro-mechanical slot perforation", "Maxxwell Production", "Nekko", "Nexus", "Nord Service", "Octopus", "Oil Tech Group", "Kontact", "Komplex".

SLOTTING PERFORATION TECHNOLOGY BENEFITS
SLOTTING PERFORATION TECHNOLOGY PRESENTATIONS
Ecologically safe
Environmentally friendly (used water and sand)
Penetration depth is up to 5 feet (1.5 m)
Opening (drainage) area per one linear meter up to 13 ft² (2 nozzles/slots), and 23 ft² (4 nozzles/slots)
Accordingly opening a large casing's area
Accordingly reduces “breaking component” due passage productive inflow, taking place in a small casing's holes (after gun perforation, cumulative perforation, or abrasive jetting perforation)
Cutting speed is 50 min per linear foot in cased wells, and 30 min per linear foot in open holes
Simultaneous cutting 2, 3, and 4 slots along the wellbore
No detonation impact
No casing damage
No cement cracks
No clog-up the formation borders
Unloading the annular compressive stress conditions in the near wellbore zone up to 50-100 %
Accordingly increase the permeability up to 30-50 %
Accordingly increase the useful productive inflow up to 5-10 times
Can be used in oil, gas, injection and hydro-geological wells
Can be used in newly drilled and low productivity (low debit) wells
Can be used in vertical and horizontal wells
Can be performed with tubing and coiled tubing
Can be used in any formation (sandstone, carbonates, shale’s, thinly interbedded, quicksand, etc.)
Can be used near the water reservoirs (where impossible to use hydraulic fracturing)
Extract more than 20 % additional oil from the layers with higher productivity
Duration of effect 10-15 years
Make an excellent geometry for subsequent fracturing (if necessary)
